Our Story
We met backstage at a fashion week showcase in Milan, both there for work and neither of us particularly enjoying the chaos of it — until we ended up hiding from it together in the same stairwell. Marcus was sketching; Zuri asked to see, uninvited, and never really left. Long-distance for the first year, we made a habit of meeting in whichever city had the better exhibition that month. Marcus proposed in that same stairwell, years later, at the same showcase, in front of a door marked 'staff only' that neither of us has been able to walk past since without laughing.
