Frequently asked questions
The essentials, answered.
Accounts & pricing
Is Bridal Banda free?
Yes. You can create an account and use Bridal Banda's core wedding-planning tools for free.
Who can create an account?
Bridal Banda accounts are created by couples planning their wedding.
Guests & RSVPs
Can guests RSVP without creating an account?
Yes. Guests respond through the couple’s public wedding website.
Registry
Where does payment happen when a guest buys a gift?
On the retailer’s own website. Each registry item links to the original product page, so guests check out there directly.
Planning tools
Can my partner have their own login?
Yes. One of you signs up, then invites the other from account settings. Your partner sets their own password and gets the same access you have — the same guest list, budget, checklist, events and website, not a second copy to keep in sync. You can remove the invitation at any time. More about planning together.
Can we have more than one event?
Yes, and most Kenyan weddings do. Add the ruracio, the church service and the reception as separate events, each with its own date, venue, description and guest list. Every event gets its own page your guests can open and add to their calendar. More about events.
Can a couple import a guest list?
Yes. Add guests one by one or import them all at once from a CSV file.
How do we send the invitations?
On WhatsApp, one guest at a time. We open the chat with a personalised message and your website link ready — you press send yourself, from your own WhatsApp, so nothing goes out from a number your guests don’t recognise. Each one is marked off as you go. You can also design an invite card to send or print. More about invitations.
Wedding websites
Is the website mobile friendly?
Yes. The public website, wedding website and couple dashboard are designed for desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
